We’re the official baseball supplier of the Mid-Summer Blast Youth Baseball Challenge

Victor Sports has stepped up to the plate to be the official baseball supplier of the Mid-Summer Blast Youth Baseball Challenge. 

Hosted by Baseball Pathways NZ, this event provides new opportunities for aspiring ballplayers. 

Following the successful launch of the Mid-Summer Blast in 2024, the event has gone from strength to strength and is back for 2026 at Western Park, Levin running from the 2 – 5 January. 

Paul Bennett, Victor Sports Channel Manager and amateur baseball player, is passionate about growing the sport of baseball in New Zealand. “I’m a huge fan. I play, my kids play, and after seeing the success of the Mid-Summer Blast earlier this year, I wanted Victor Sports to support in some way. This year we’ll be supplying the balls for training and games”.  

“Victor Sports has recently added baseball equipment to their portfolio of products, so supporting this tournament is a great way of getting our name out there. This is a unique tournament that provides a great experience for young players, and we’re excited to be a part of it”.  

The Mid-Summer Blast Youth Baseball Challenge is a unique tournament with a draft system for team selection, skills training from some of New Zealand's top coaches, home run derbies, skills competitions, and a whole lot more.
